After selling out the Sit Down Comedy Club in 2024, this year we are back and bigger than ever! We have a brand new venue, the iconic Felon’s Barrel Hall at Howard Smith Wharves.
Plus, we have are incredibly excited to present a new line up!
Rejoining Michael Albrecht and Kara Robinson is Jack Knight – absolute icon of Brisbane, who weaves his way eloquently through the darkest of themes, sprinkling just the right amount of light to ensure audiences are left in stitches, whilst questioning his sanity.
We also have recruited Mickey D, who opened for Jim Jefferies’ Australian Tour in 2024, to delight crowds with his eccentric and much-celebrated MCing style, hosting the Shellshocked 2025. Mickey D is notoriously known for performing the world’s highest ever comedy gig – for members of the Australian SAS – at Everest Base Camp.
Joining him as a newbie to the group, is arguably the best comedian in Australia – Luke Heggie. With his take on modern manhood and dabbling in the delights of cynicism, Heggie promises to bring a stellar performance with his brand of old-fashioned Aussie larikkanism, combined with a dash of contemporary rastabouting.
